How to read your result
PASS means WebRTC did not expose any public IP address different from the one websites see. If your VPN is connected and the location shown matches your VPN server, you're not leaking.
LEAK DETECTED means WebRTC exposed a public IP address that differs from your VPN's IP — typically your real ISP address. Your VPN is not covering browser traffic.
Local (192.168.x.x etc.) addresses are only visible inside your own network — not a leak by themselves, but a sign WebRTC is active.
Honest limits: this is a WebRTC & IP leak test. It does not test DNS leaks (not reliably doable purely in a browser) and it is not a VPN speed or encryption test.
If a leak is found
Enable your VPN's kill switch if it has one.
Disable WebRTC in your browser settings (Chrome/Edge: via extension; Firefox: media.peerconnection.enabled = false in about:config; Brave/Safari: built-in controls).
Consider a VPN with built-in WebRTC/leak protection.
Re-run this test after each change to confirm the leak is gone.
Privacy
All checks run locally in your browser. The only network requests are the STUN handshake (required for the WebRTC check) and a single public IP geolocation lookup. Nothing is stored, logged, or sent to us.
